The cost of professional investigative and protective services may vary widely depending on the scope, complexity and type of assignment. Private investigative and protective service fees in the USA are customarily charged on a hourly rate. Our standard hourly fee is $65.00, plus expenses. The hourly rate is based on 1 investigator or protective service agent. Each additional agent assigned will be billed at $25.00 per hour.
Fees are broken down as: Investigative or Protection Time, Travel Time, Administrative Time, Mileage (.50) and Expenses. Expenses may include mileage, travel, lodging, rental vehicles, database access, GPS tracking, and public record duplication fees. Specialty services may be charged at a flat rate, i.e., forensic services, drug and DNA paternity testing, and process service.
A working retainer and a signed professional service agreement is required before services are initiated. The retainer guarantees the assignment will be performed as agreed. The amount of the retainer depends on the projected number of service hours. There are no charges for initial consultations. Credit cards (MC, VISA) accepted. |
